One year down

Although it has been awhile since a new post has made the hallowed halls of Live from Luxembourg, today I am just making a quick stop (don't worry, more adventures will soon be on their way).

As some of you might be aware of, just a few weeks ago on August 29th, my one year anniversary here at Luxembourg was celebrated. Luckily for me this anniversary coincided with the annual Lux Carnival, so a good time filled with beer, sausages, and carnies was had by all.

Anyway, I just wanted to say how amazing the past year has been. I did not have too many goals or specific things in mind when I moved over here other than to just try and travel and enjoy life, and my experience so far has blown away all my expectations. While I miss Seattle and look forward to returning someday (and for those of you keeping score at home, I will be back for 2 weeks starting December 20th), I am really enjoying my stay in lovely Lux.

Besides, here in Lux when you go to the theatre you can get litre cola. Awesome.
