Some potpourri

Well before my European travel adventures kick back into full swing this weekend with a trip to balmy Poland (seriously, it should be fairly warm, winter here on the continent has been extremely mild), I wanted to send out a quick potpourri post to whet the appetite of all my adoring fans. So without further adieu:

1. Despite the mild winter here in Luxembourg, I did manage to survive a major snow storm a few weeks back:

Wow, the sidewalk is almost totally covered in snow! On the plus side I did start my afternoon run that day just as it began to snow, so that was kinda fun to brave those vicious elements.

2. When I was back for the holidays, several of you asked about the pimp ride that I was driving over here in Luxembourg. Well this little French princess is an Opel Astra, break edition:

I picked it off a list (it was in the 2nd cheapest category), and unbeknownst to me, ‘break’ means station wagon. So I am driving a station wagon, oh yeah. However this is just my short term car, at the end of this month I will be able to purchase a car through the company program, and needless to say it will neither be an Opel or a station wagon.

3. I just wanted to take a quick second to go back to the Amsterdam trip I made with Timmy (left) and his buddy ‘Peacocke’ (center) in October.

Well Peacocke was busy taking little videos with his camera, and he put together this clip on youtube (CLICK HERE) . I am not in it a ton as I didn’t realize how cool it would turn out, but I will be sure to change that next time. Check it out.

Well that was it, just a quick hitter. While I have been working day and night, the traveling is picking up now and will be amazing in March, so be sure to check back every so often (I should be putting up posts every 7-10 days now for awhile).
